What we sell

theelfworkshopz sells women's summer footwear: slide sandals, flip-flops and thong sandals, cork footbed sandals with adjustable buckles, flat and strappy sandals, low wedges and espadrilles, and moulded EVA slides for the pool. Sizes run from US women's 6 to 10. Prices sit between $20.99 and $39.99, and a pair costs the same in every colour and every size we list.

How we choose a pair

We start at the footbed, not at the strap. Most of what we carry is cork, memory foam or yoga-mat cushioning rather than a flat slab of foam, because that is the difference between a sandal you can stand in for a morning and one you take off at the first opportunity. After that we look at whether the fit can be adjusted: buckles, hook-and-loop and elastic all let you change the fit as your feet swell in the heat, which also makes those pairs the ones that work for a broader foot.

We are a small operation. We do not design or manufacture footwear. We select from what our supplier already makes, and we write the product pages from the specifications they give us.

Where your order comes from

Orders are picked, packed and shipped by our fulfillment partner in China, then delivered inside the United States by USPS or FedEx. We do not hold stock in the United States and we do not have a store you can visit. Total delivery time is 11 to 17 business days, and our Shipping Policy breaks that down stage by stage.

Returns are different: those go to a United States address in Easton, Pennsylvania, on a prepaid label we send you. The details are in our Returns & Refunds page.

What we will not tell you

There are no customer reviews on this site, because we are new and have not earned any yet. There are no best-seller badges for the same reason. We do not publish a centimetre size conversion chart, because our supplier does not give us a verified one for every style and a made-up number would cost you a return. Where we do not know something about a pair, the product page says nothing rather than guessing.

If something goes wrong

Email support@theelfworkshopz.com and a person reads it. We answer within 24 hours. Returns are free for 30 days from delivery, with a prepaid label and no restocking fee, so the risk of ordering the wrong size sits with us rather than with you.
